Who we are

Dax & Bax Properties LLC is a real estate brokerage registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its office at 16 on the 17th, Bay Gate Tower, Business Bay, Dubai. Our Office Registration Number is 55930.

This policy explains what we collect through daxandbax.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to ask us to delete it. It covers this website only. It does not cover Bayut, Property Finder, or any social platform we appear on, each of which has its own policy.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal information when you choose to give it to us. There are three places on this website where that happens.

• When you download a guide

  Your name, email address and phone number, which are required, and optionally what you are looking to do and your budget range.

• When you make an enquiry

  Your name, email address, phone number, and the property or project you asked about.

• When you apply for a role

  Your name, email address, phone number, your current company, your years of experience, your RERA broker number if you have one, a link you choose to share, and anything you write in the message box.

• Automatically, in server logs

  Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and is not used to build a profile of you.

Why we use it

To send you the guide you asked for. To answer your enquiry. To consider your job application. And, where you have given us your details through a guide or an enquiry, to follow up once about what you were looking for.

We do not sell your information. We do not pass it to other brokerages, developers or data brokers. We do not add you to a newsletter or a drip campaign because you downloaded a guide.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of established companies to run this website. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your information for their own purposes.

• Vercel

  Hosts the website and serves its pages. Processes the technical log information described above.

• Supabase

  The database where guide download details are stored. Access is restricted to signed in Dax & Bax staff.

• Resend

  Delivers job applications to our inbox as email. It handles the contents of an application in transit.

• Meta

  Where we are running advertising, as described in the next section.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Meta platforms, which include Facebook and Instagram. When we are running a campaign, this website may load the Meta pixel, a small piece of code that tells Meta which pages you visited and whether you completed an action such as downloading a guide.

Meta uses this to report on how an advert performed, and to show our adverts to people who have visited the site or who resemble our existing audience. The pixel sets cookies in your browser to do this.

You can limit this. Your advert preferences on Facebook and Instagram control how your activity is used for advertising, and your browser settings can block or delete cookies. Doing either does not stop you using this website or downloading anything on it.

Outside of advertising we run no analytics software of our own. We do not use Google Analytics and we set no cookies of our own.

How long we keep it

Guide downloads and enquiries are kept for as long as it takes to follow up and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than twenty four months, so that we can recognise you if you come back to us.

Job applications are kept for twelve months from the date you apply, unless you join us or ask us to remove them sooner.

When a period ends, or when you ask us to delete your information, we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email info@daxandbax.com and say what you would like us to do. We will act on it and reply to confirm.

You do not have to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

Keeping it safe

Information is held with the providers named above, who encrypt it in transit and at rest. Access to stored leads and applications is limited to Dax & Bax staff who need it to do their work.

No website can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we collect as little as we reasonably can, which is the most useful protection of all.

Children

This website is for adults looking at property and at careers in property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and move the review date at the top of it. The date tells you when the wording last changed.
